Land Surveyor Stafford (with National Travel) £32,000 – £40,000 (DOE) Potential for Company Van We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join an established surveying team working on a wide range of land and measured building survey projects. This is a national role that will involve regular travel and occasional weekend work (approx. 20 weekends per year). While much of the work can be completed from home or on-site, occasional visits to the Stafford office will be necessary. You'll manage your own small-to-medium sized projects and contribute to wider survey programmes, ensuring high standards are met at every stage. Key Responsibilities: * Conducting topographical and mobile mapping surveys * Using Total Station and GNSS/GPS technology for site data collection * Overseeing site survey teams and ensuring project deadlines are met * Producing CAD drawings from collected data * Maintaining survey equipment and adhering to QA/QC procedures * Supporting junior staff and contributing to departmental development * Occasional overnight stays and weekend work as required Requirements: * At least 1 year of UK-based land surveying experience * Proficient in topographical survey techniques * Confident using Robotic Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment * Competent in producing CAD drawings from survey data * Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude * A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK Benefits: * Competitive salary based on experience * Option for a company van (discussed at interview) * National travel with varied and interesting survey projects * Supportive team environment with scope for personal growth How to Apply: MGR Recruitment is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
