Facilities Assistant Security
We are looking for a Facilities Assistant Security to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £23,643 (pro rata) per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
To maintain the security and safety of the premises and grounds along with the security and safety of students, staff, visitors and property through the use of different security methods, techniques, equipment and technology.
To be a qualified First Aider, and as such respond to first aid incidents.
Be a College Fire Warden and as such carry out the duties in accordance with the College's fire and evacuation procedures and have a specific designated role in these procedure per College site.
To carry out security procedures for College buildings and grounds including checking and securing windows and doors both internally and externally, as part of a routine patrolling system and the setting of intruder alarms.
Skills and Qualifications:
Hold First Aid Certificate or be prepared to obtain within 6 months of appointment and keep renewed as required.
Level 2 literacy/English and Maths/ numeracy qualifications.
Have relevant experience of working in front line security or stewarding.
Have a clear understanding of their role during fire alarm testing and evacuation
