Once qualified, there is an expectation that you will work for CNWL in a substantive post.(subject toavailability).We currently offer a 6% recruitment and retention premiafor substantive Health Visitors(T&C's apply, further information given at interview)
Applicants must be Registered Nurses or Midwives with a current NMC registration and have an interest in addressing the health needs of children and families.The course isrun at Post Graduate Diploma (Level 7),see person specification for application requirements. Applicants must also be holders of a valid driving licence and have accessand use of a car for the duration of the training.
The programme will enable SCPHN students to learn and work towards gaining the standards ofproficiencyfor entry into the NMC register as Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN). In collaboration withNorthamptonUniversitythe Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor, ensures suitable learning environments and create opportunities which will enable the student to develop knowledge, skills and competencies to take on the role of a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse within the discipline of Health Visiting by the end of the programme.
