Associate / Solicitor (2-5 PQE) – Motor Crime (Regulatory Crime)
Location: Manchester (with national travel)
We’re looking for a lawyer with experience in defending motor crime investigations and prosecutions to join our specialist Regulatory Crime Department in Manchester.
The Opportunity
You’ll work on a high-quality, often high-profile caseload, representing clients across England & Wales—from early police investigations through to trial.
Typical Matters Include
* Death by dangerous or careless driving
* Serious injury by careless driving
* Careless driving offences
* Drink driving, speeding, no insurance
You’ll Gain Exposure To

* Complex cases supported by leading experts and King’s Counsel
This is a unique chance to practice criminal defence within a corporate, insurer-backed environment (no legal aid work).

Who We’re Looking For
* NQ Solicitors, Legal Executives, and experienced lawyers (all PQE levels)
* Defence or prosecution backgrounds
You’ll Ideally Have
* Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System (England & Wales)
* Experience with or exposure to motoring offences
* Strong communication and client‑handling skills
* A proactive, resilient approach in a fast‑paced environment
* Willingness to travel nationally (full UK driving licence essential)
