This is a part-time remote role for a Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for conducting assessments and treatments related to adolescent psychiatry, mental health, and psychiatric care. The day-to-day tasks include diagnosing autism, evaluating ADHD, providing psychiatric care, and contributing to mental health assessments.
Training diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders
Training in mental health assessments
Level 7 in international English or O Level/ GCE/GCSE English at grade C (4) or above with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely using video conferencing technology such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams
Full Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatry
Training in the titration of ADHD medication
We are particularly looking for psychiatrists with their own personal identification number with experience of titration of ADHD medication and ability to prescribe ADHD medication. Ideally you will have experience training others or the ability to develop non-medical prescribers.
Diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder.
Diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders, depression, emotionally, unstable, personality, disorder, and other mental health conditions.
Forensic psychiatry with experience of medicolegal reporting
Assessments under section 12 of the Mental Health Act
We are particularly looking for people at consultant psychiatrist level who have specialism with children and young people and people with a strong background in medicolegal reporting.
