A leading D&B studio is launching a brand-new internal design team and they’re looking for their first Senior Designer to help shape it.
This is a rare opportunity to join a top-tier D&B business at the start of an exciting new chapter. Known for delivering ambitious workplace environments across London, this team sit at the intersection of real estate, design and commercial delivery.
Now with several internal design teams already, they’re investing in another. As the first Senior Designer in this team, you’ll work closely with the Managing Director to set the tone creatively, influence the direction of the team and play a key role in its growth.

Responsibilities
* Lead the creative direction on workplace interiors and commercial fit-out projects, from early concept through to delivery
* Play a key role in winning new work, supporting the business development process through design thinking, pitch strategy and compelling creative responses
* Lead and contribute to client pitches, developing standout concepts, presentations and storytelling that secure projects
* Work closely with the Managing Director to build and shape the new design team, helping establish creative standards and ways of working
* Develop strong workplace design concepts and narratives that align with client brands, culture and commercial objectives
* Produce and oversee high-quality design output, including space planning, concept visuals, mood boards and presentation materials
* Present design ideas confidently to clients and stakeholders, guiding them through the creative and strategic thinking behind proposals
* Collaborate with pre-construction, delivery and commercial teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project delivery
* Stay closely connected to the London workplace market, bringing insight and ideas that help keep the studio competitive in pitches
Requirements
* Proven experience working within a Design & Build environment or an AJ100 architecture/interiors practice
* A strong portfolio focused on workplace interiors and commercial office fit-out projects
* Demonstrable experience contributing to or leading client pitches, competitions and work-winning activity
* A confident presenter and storyteller, able to communicate design ideas clearly and persuasively to clients
* Highly creative, with the ability to develop distinctive workplace concepts and strategic design narratives
* Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of the D&B project lifecycle
* Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to produce and review detailed design information
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where design and delivery work closely together
* Ambitious and entrepreneurial, excited by the opportunity to be one of the first hires in a new design team and help shape its growth
