As a Graduate Hydraulic Modeller, you will have the chance to work on diverse residential, commercial, industrial, renewable energy, and climate change projects for UK-based public and private sector clients. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting Flood Risk Assessments
2. Flood Estimation
3. Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller
4. Nutrient Neutrality Assessments
5. Natural flood management and wetland restoration
You will also:
* Collaborate with Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Support the team in delivering surface water management plans and drainage strategies.
* Continuously develop your technical skills through hands-on experience and training provided by our team of experts.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
* A strong academic background in a related subject such as Geography, Environmental Modelling, River Basin Dynamics, or Environmental Management.
* Ideally, experience working for a UK-based consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments or Hydraulic Modelling.
* Be based in the South West or be open to relocating to Cheltenham or Bristol.
