We maintain an impeccable record of working within a strong safety culture. The Role We are looking for an experienced Quality Lead to join our team at our Port Talbot facility. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee a team of welding and quality inspectors, ensuring all aspects of quality control and assurance in welding and fabrication are fully satisfied. Key Responsibilities Working as part of the wider management and supervision team Understanding and following inspection and test plans Maintaining traceability throughout all projects Managing and overseeing NDT operations Liaising directly with client quality teams Preparation and management of quality documentation Mentoring and directing a team of welding and quality inspectors Qualifications Essential: CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector or higher Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS Experience & Skills 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the engineering or construction industry Proven ability to develop and follow inspection and test plans Experience working with ISO 9001 quality management systems Previous experience in a team-leading or supervisory capacity Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across client and internal teams
