Mental Health Therapeutic Care Assistant
Location: Burghfield, West Berkshire (commutable distance of Reading)
Base Salary: £26,000 for a 40-hour working week
Bonus: 4 sleep-ins per month (£50 per weekday and £60 per weekend earnings start from £2,300 per annum)

About The Role
As a Children's Home Support Worker, you will be a positive role model, providing care, support, structure, and nurturing to children, always ensuring their safety. You will build effective relationships, support routines, participate in activities and holidays, create care plans, collaborate with parents, teachers, therapists, and social workers, write reports, and maintain accurate records. These tasks support our children and young people in their daily lives.
About Us
Amegreen Children's Services has been established since 2013. We operate therapeutic communities of children's homes across rural West Berkshire and Hampshire, supporting children with social, emotional, mental health needs, and learning disabilities.
Our homes are located near small towns, with access to larger towns, woodland, and countryside. We also have a therapeutic farm offering Equine Assisted Learning with horses, supported by a dedicated therapy team.
We pride ourselves on achieving a Good and Outstanding Ofsted rating across all homes and are a preferred provider in the South-East. We are committed to high standards and excellent outcomes for children.
