Hiring - Senior Project Manager – EPC Substations
Glasgow | UK
Full Project Lifecycle Exposure | EPC | HV Substations | P&L Ownership
Salary: £70,000 - £105,000 Per Annum (DOE)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major EPC substation and electrical infrastructure projects across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong commercial awareness, proven P&L accountability, and experience managing multidisciplinary teams across complex HV infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead EPC substation projects from tender through to handover
• Own project delivery, financial performance, and contract strategy
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors
• Oversee construction planning, procurement, engineering, commissioning, and energisation
• Ensure compliance with NEC/FIDIC contracts, CDM regulations, and HSE standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
Extensive EPC substation project experience
Strong commercial and P&L management capability
Experience delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes
Excellent stakeholder and team leadership skills
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
