Non-Standard Household Underwriting Manager ( 9 month FTC)

We’re building our capability, and our new Non-Standard Household Underwriting Manager will be at the heart of it! This role is all about developing our propositions for Non-Standard Household risks. You’ll develop and manage underwriting strategies, policies, and frameworks for emerging risks, as well as work closely with the end-to-end teams, helping to provide insights and expertise to directly influence how Aviva can better serve our customers.
FYI - This is 9 month interim role to cover a secondment !
A bit about the job:
* Develop and maintai n underwriting strategy, policies, and frameworks.
* Provi de tec hnical expertise to shape new products and propositions.
* Define risk appetite, technical standards, and underwriting guidance.
* Collaborate with the Non-Standard Lead to explore new opportunities.
* Make risk-based decisions and solve complex challenges at pace.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Strong experience in a Non-Standard Household focused underwriting role
* Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects.
* Deep understanding of the Personal Lines market and regulations.
* Excellent analytical and risk management skills.
* CII qualifications (desirable but not essential)
