Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist patients with their daily needs. Duties
* Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff promptly.
* Help with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of patient areas, ensuring a hygienic environment.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
* Assist in the administration of medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
* Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to enhance skills.
Experience
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* A caring attitude and strong interpersonal skills are crucial for this role.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
* Familiarity with basic medical terminology is an advantage but not mandatory.
* A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.
