Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer with Radiation Protection supervisor experience for a 12-month fixed-term position. The successful candidate will lead in developing, implementing, and reviewing IRR policies and procedures across our Medical Imaging departments at Colchester, Ipswich Hospital, and community sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead on IRMER legislation and patient safety within all Medical Imaging Departments.
2. Develop, implement, and review IRR and IRMER policies and procedures.
3. Promote collaboration between Imaging department and Radiation Safety & Imaging Physics.
4. Support radiation incident investigations and serious incident reviews.
5. Authorise and perform radiographic examinations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services.
