Developing a proactive control approach assists management in achieving strategic objectives, promotes efficiency, reduces the risk of loss, and helps ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. Proper internal controls enable management to navigate today’s rapidly changing environment and prepare for future growth.
The Markets Financial Crimes Risk team supports a Sales and Trading environment and seeks a highly energized, dynamic professional ready to join a fast-paced, global leader in financial services.
What you’ll do
* Manage and support AML risk and control programs, including strategy, processes, quality, tools, and reporting to ensure global risk management consistency and excellence.
* Collaborate with Operations and stakeholders to identify and manage AML risks across Markets platforms.
* Perform detailed data analysis on large datasets.
* Coordinate control initiatives: design solutions, develop plans, analyze data, drive execution, and oversee the Markets program.
* Partner across the organization to deliver proactive, value-added solutions, focusing on continuous improvement of controls and processes.
* Prepare presentations for senior management on projects, developments, risks, and key updates.
* Liaise with AML ICRM, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure comprehensive coverage and resolve issues.
* Work with business partners to review findings and recommend improvements.
What we’ll need from you

* Experience managing large data volumes and performing in-depth analysis.
* Knowledge of AML rules/regulations specific to Citi Markets.
* Understanding of Citi Markets and Operations, including payments, settlements, technology, and audit processes.
* Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including handling large datasets.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
* Team-oriented, open to ideas, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure in complex settings.
