Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Electrician will carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across commercial and/or industrial sites, following all relevant regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe working practices with electrical systems.
* Hands‑on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system upgrades.
* Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
* Understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Relevant electrical qualifications or apprenticeship (e.g., recognized NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent) and up‑to‑date knowledge of applicable electrical regulations and standards.
* Testing and Inspection preferable
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Full, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites as required.
* Previous experience in facilities management, commercial, or industrial environments is an advantage.
* ECA Card Holder
* Available to work overtime hours and weekends where required.
