Overview
An exciting Director opportunity for someone wanting to lead and shape a department. Lift Winton is a popular secondary school with fantastic facilities and a great reputation within the local community. We continue to be ambitious and want to become the best school in Hampshire. The school has recently appointed a new Principal, Myles Preston, who brings with him over ten years of experience in both teaching and leadership roles.

Your new role
The Maths Department has a current team of seven, ranging from recently qualified to very experienced teachers. We are looking for someone who can lead and shape the department, and turn it into the best Maths Department in Hampshire. This is a rare opportunity to have both freedom and support to ensure the curriculum is ambitious, broad and engaging.
What you’ll need to succeed
Qualified maths teacher with a proven track record of driving and improving results. An approachable yet accountable leader who can manage subject leaders and teachers within the faculty to raise and maintain the highest standards of progress, attainment, teaching and learning. Highly ambitious for students, the team, and for raising standards across the department.
