A well-established and highly regarded law firm near Brighton is seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor (2–5 years PQE) to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Trusts, LPAs, Probate, Estate Administration, Tax and Succession Planning
* Drafting Wills, Trust documents, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and other legal documentation
* Advising clients on inheritance tax, estate planning, and asset protection
* Handling the full probate process, including obtaining grants of representation and administering estates
* Preparing and registering LPAs with the Office of the Public Guardian
* Providing clear, empathetic, and professional legal advice to individuals and families
* Managing client relationships and maintaining a high standard of client care
* Liaising with third parties such as financial advisers, accountants, and HMRC
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
* Contributing to business development activities and the continued growth of the department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* 2–5 years’ PQE working in a UK private client department
* Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, and Tax Planning
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* Ability to supervision
* A proactive and professional approach
