The role
This is a full time, permanent role with hybrid working as standard. The firm is open to conversations around salary and will consider alternative arrangements for working hours. You will handle a broad range of private client matters, advising a varied portfolio of clients including high net worth individuals, families and business owners.
Your work will include:
* Drafting wills and advising on succession planning
* Probate and estate administration, including complex and high value estates
* Trust creation, administration and restructuring
* Tax and estate planning for UK and international clients
* Powers of attorney and related matters
* (Optional) Deputyship and Court of Protection work
You will manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy, working collaboratively within a friendly, experienced and dynamic team.
About you
* A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in private client or private wealth work
* Strong technical expertise in wills, trusts and estate administration
* A confident communicator with excellent client handling skills
* Commercially astute, proactive and able to develop trusted long term relationships
* STEP qualification or a commitment to working towards it would be advantageous
* Experience in deputyship and Court of Protection work is beneficial but not essential
