Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant SEN school in Dudley on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
1. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development of students with a range of needs, including moderate to complex learning difficulties, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, and physical disabilities.
2. You will work closely with the class teacher and a team of skilled support staff to provide tailored interventions and encouragement, helping students to access the curriculum and reach their individual goals.
3. The role involves supporting children and young people aged 4 to 19, both on a one-to-one basis and within small group settings, adapting your approach to meet their varied needs.
4. This is a full-time position with the potential to become long-term for the right candidate.

About you:
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
9. Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
10. Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
11. Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
