About the Role: Care Home Manager at HC-One
As a Care Home Manager at HC-One, you'll prioritize kindness, which influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents are met, leading and motivating your team, providing clinical guidance and training, conducting assessments, developing and evaluating care plans, and ensuring safety and compliance with standards and legislation. You will promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
The position offers leadership opportunities to manage the home effectively, ensuring top-quality care through excellent staff and compassionate service. Whether championing resident wellbeing, setting a vision, or overseeing quality assurance, your approach will be grounded in kindness.
Qualifications required include a Registered Managers Award Level 4 or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one. Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and risk assessments is essential. Above all, communication with residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately, including reporting concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
