Invercare is a home care company providing care in the community we are currently recruiting a Service Manager to support our branch with the day-to-day operations of the care at home and housing support service.
Responsibilities:
1. Accountable to the Regional Manager
2. Responsibility for the legal and ethical operational running of various home care services.
4. Manage the governance process as required ensuring inclusion of relevant stake holders; compliance with policies and procedures; and consistency with the principals and regulations set out by commissioners and regulatory organisations
5. Work closely with other senior and local managers to ensure strong learning links are made across relevant areas
6. Provide coordination expertise and reporting to relevant internal and external bodies, working groups and forums.
7. Ensure policies and procedures, are being adhered to and embedded within the care at home and housing support service.
9. Assist managers and senior managers with budgets and monitor specific performance within areas of responsibility
10. Ensure that he confidentiality of personal information remains secure in line with the organisations policy and GDPR. To work within agreed budgets to ensure efficient running of the service.
11. Ultimate responsibility for all staff within the Branch.
12. To ensure successful operation of quality assurance processes operated within the service
13. Participating in recruitment, analysing retention of staff and areas for improvement
15. Oversee absence management within the Branch
16. To partake in on call as is necessary to provide adequate cover for the service
17. Monitoring care management platforms and ensuring it meets the organisations quality assurance policies and procedures
18. To be the lead person for the branch and be the responsible Registered Manager for the Care inspectorate
Qualifications and requirements
* SVQ 3 with the willingness to work towards SVQ4/LMA
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in management level within a care at home service
* Registration with a regulatory body relevant to the service
* Experience of leading and managing teams
* Experience of partnership working
* The ability to partnership work within the sector
