Assistant Production Manager Required!On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Production Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for take a hands-on leadership role within the workshop.Package:Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)25 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pension schemeEarly finish FridaysAssistant Production Manager - Responsibilities:Actively participate in workshop activities including assembly, rework and testing of equipmentSupervise and support workshop engineers on a day-to-day basis, providing hands-on guidance and technical supportSupport the Production Manager with workload prioritisation, coordination, and planning of upcoming projectsEnsure all work is completed to specification, on time, and to required quality standardsEnsure compliance with company quality standards and requirementsMaintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures across all workshop activitiesCarry out and oversee quality inspections and checksCoordinate effectively with engineering, service, and production teams to meet deadlinesAttend production meetings, providing clear updates on project status, progress, and potential delaysContribute to continuous improvement through product and process feedbackAssistant Production Manager - Requirements:Time-served engineer or qualified to HNC/HNDPrevious supervisory or foreman experience in a workshop or production environmentStrong experience in mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly, or build environmentsAbility to lead and support a small technical team effectivelyStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesStrong commitment to health & safety and safe working practiceStreamline Search is acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying to this post you are granting us consent to process your data and contact you in relation to this applicationTPBN1_UKTJ
