Job Purpose: This role will make a key contribution to Innovate UK’s efforts to support companies in working internationally. Whilst reporting to the EU and Global Portfolio Manager, you will work across the Global team to ensure effective delivery of our wider portfolio. The role has two key focus areas: (1) a strong focus on Eureka, where key activities will include supporting the delivery of the seven funding streams as well as sitting with Eureka working groups driving policy and strategy; (2) across the wider global portfolio, there is also a need to better capture and communicate the impact of our activities and continue to encourage business engagement despite the changing external context so a further focus will be on impact and communications. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Support the management and delivery of the global portfolio within Innovate UK, working closely with the Europe & Global Portfolio Manager and Eureka Programme Manager to ensure the efficient delivery of Eureka programmes; Lead the successful implementation of the new Eureka competitions process internally, engaging teams across the organisation, as required; Build and support relationships with partner countries and the Eureka Secretariat in order to ensure the successful delivery of programmes; Maintain Eureka programme expertise in order to provide project support as required; Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop analysis of our Eureka activities in order to collect evidence and capture impact; Work closely with the EU & Global Portfolio Manager and Eureka Programme Manager to liaise with the DSIT Eureka team in order to inform policy. Travel Requirements: Field-based: There will a requirement to travel, mostly national, and there is some flexibility in this.
