Occupational Therapist - Maternity Leave Contract
Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 41 residential aged care homes, with in-home and community care programs in WA and NSW. We are on the lookout for a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support our Karingal Green and Tuohy Aged Care Homes, located in High Wycombe and Midland. This is a Maternity Leave Cover Fixed Term Contract, from May 2026 to May 2027, working part-time (4 days per week).
About the role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for undertaking cognitive assessments (e.g., MOCA, HDS-R, and MMSE) and seating prescriptions for our Home Care clients, aimed to improve their independence, social participation and engagement in meaningful occupations.
Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an inter-disciplinary team, as well as when making meaningful connections with aged care residents and clients.
What you’ll bring
Before you can be considered for this role, we’ll need you to possess the following:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration
* Membership with OT Australia or WA Association of Occupational Therapy
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Full working rights in Australia
