HLTA – Morecambe:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a qualified HLTA to join an excellent school near to Morecambe. This is a full time position to start ASAP. You will be covering lessons while the teacher is on PPA.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the curriculum
The Role:
* Covering both core and foundation lessons while the teacher is on PPA
* Keeping regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress of the students
* Building rapport with students, staff and parents
Position Details:
* Position: HLTA
* Location: Morecambe
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm, Mon-Fri
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
* Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential
* Excellent knowledge of the curriculum in both core and foundation subjects
* Previous experience leading lessons for small groups
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
