Recovery Worker

£24,570 per annum

Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
About the role:
Are you a compassionate, resilient, and motivated individual looking to support people in their recovery journey? Bakery Court in Ulverston is part of Waythrough's network of recovery-focused services. We are seeking a Recovery Worker to join our dedicated team at this CQC-registered 12-hour supported living site.
Bakery Court provides person-centred support to adults living with mental ill health, helping them build skills and confidence for independent living. As a Recovery Worker, you will support individuals to manage their wellbeing, develop life skills, engage in meaningful activities, and work towards personal goals.
Your responsibilities include supporting with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, facilitating group sessions, and conducting one-to-one recovery planning. No two days are the same, but every day makes a difference.
Ideal candidate:
* Experience in supported living, mental health, care, or social work (preferred)
* A genuine passion for helping others achieve independence
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
* Willingness to undertake medication training and the Care Certificate
* Flexibility to work varied shift patterns including weekends and sleep-ins
* Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
