Role Overview The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer to drive the company's business transformation agenda and manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. This is a hands-on position within a growing organisation, requiring a strong focus on professionalising financial processes and systems. Key Responsibilities Oversee and deliver accurate, timely month-end and year-end management accounts, including all reports required by external stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to prepare reliable forecasts and budgets. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities affecting cashflow Drive improvements and professionalisation across the Finance function, including systems, controls, and processes. Manage the treasury function, including cashflow forecasting.
Lead the statutory audit process and act as the main point of contact for external auditors. Oversee all tax compliance activities, including HMRC/statutory returns, computations, and coordination with tax advisors. Manage and develop a small team.
Act as a strategic business partner to the Senior Management Team. Provide ad-hoc financial and strategic support to the CFO and CEO as required. Skills and Experience CCAB-qualified accountant with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience, gained either in a manufacturing environment...
