A well-established UK roofing and cladding contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to lead projects across South Wales. With around 180 staff and circa £40m turnover, this is a business with real scale and structure behind it, while keeping the feel of a contractor where good people are recognised and trusted to get the job done. You will be joining a company with a strong name in roofing, sheeting and cladding, delivering work across multiple sectors and maintaining a consistent pipeline. Contracts Manager Salary & Benefits Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 Car Allowance 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Private healthcare Pension Scheme Ongoing Development & Progression Location: South Wales Contracts Manager Job Overview Manage multiple roofing and cladding contracts from pre-start through to completion and handover Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, access and plant to achieve programme targets Maintain high standards across health and safety, quality and site presentation Oversee RAMS, programme updates, progress reporting and project documentation Lead client communication, chair site meetings where required and resolve issues quickly Coordinate supply chain performance, manage lead times and ensure correct materials and systems are used Drive quality assurance, inspections and snagging to ensure right-first-time delivery Identify risk early and implement practical solutions to protect programme and margin Support variations and commercial reporting with accurate records and supporting evidence Contracts Manager Requirements Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within commercial roofing and cladding Strong working knowledge of external cladding systems and modern roofing systems Confident managing multiple sites, subcontractors and live programmes simultaneously Strong health and safety leadership and a structured approach to compliance and reporting Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales as required Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
