Salary: Circa £48,000 or hourly rate equivalent depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
Due to expansion of our OH team, we are now looking for a temporary Occupational Health Advisor for up to 6 months (though part-time applicants are welcome) with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing (OH&W) Team.
The OH&W Team is committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of all MBDA employees, providing a comprehensive service through internal and external providers.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to developing and delivering an efficient, high-quality OH service, offering specialist knowledge responsive to MBDA UK's evolving needs.
You will ensure service delivery aligns with best practices, complies with policies, and meets legislative requirements.

What we're looking for from you:
* A dynamic, proactive, and motivated individual passionate about occupational health and committed to delivering excellent service that promotes physical and mental wellbeing.
* Responsibilities include delivering proactive health services, health screening, surveillance, case management, and building strong cross-functional relationships.
* Ability to handle diverse projects, demonstrate excellent organisational and IT skills, and support the development of the OH team.
* Provide clinical advice supporting wellbeing strategies, including initiatives and manager training.
* Deliver wellness medicals to executive staff and lifestyle assessments across the business, with health advice as needed.
* Lead projects and drive service improvements.
* Prepare case management reports, conduct health surveillance, and manage time effectively.
What you need:
* Essential: NMC RN Part 1 registration
* Extensive experience in occupational health services
* Desirable: RN Part 3 – SCPHN (OH) registration
Experience in pre-placement assessments, health surveillance, case management, lifestyle screening, triage, and query response is required.
You should have solid clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and be an NMC-registered nurse with occupational health experience. A current SCPHN qualification is preferred, along with evidence of training and career progression. Extensive knowledge in complex case management and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
