Job title - Geotechnical EngineerLocation - Bath£30,000 - £40,000
A well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy in Bath is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing ground engineering team.
You'll be working alongside civil, structural and environmental colleagues on a broad mix of projects across the South West from residential and commercial developments through to infrastructure schemes. The role offers a good balance of site and office work and the chance to be involved from investigation through to reporting and design input.
The role will include:
* Supervising ground investigations and site works
* Logging soils and rock in line with current standards
* Liaising with contractors and clients on site
* Preparing factual and interpretative reports
* Providing foundation and geotechnical recommendations
* Supporting senior engineers on more complex projects
What they're looking for:
* Around 2+ years' experience within a UK geotechnical or ground investigation consultancy
* A degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or a related subject
* Confident logging and site supervision experience
* Good report writing skills
* Full UK driving licence
