Aureos are seeking a Project Manager to work on our Pembrook site.
Project Managers are responsible for the following:
* Line Management of the site team, including Site Manager, Works Manager, Engineers, and Foremen.
* Alongside the Senior Project Manager, allocation of project roles and responsibilities within the Project Management Plan
* The implementation (where necessary) and attendance of key project meetings, including:
* Tender handover meetings
* Pre-start meetings with the client
* Pre-contract meetings with supply chain partners
* Collaborative Planning sessions
* Weekly site meetings to review progress and actions to deliver works with all site team departments (operational, commercial and planning)
* Progress meetings with the client
* Fortnightly Risk Reviews - review and update Risk & Opportunity Register
* Weekly Project Review with Senior Management
* Development and ownership of a construction programme, with assistance from the project Planner, updated throughout construction to reflect contract change and progress
* Client liaison throughout construction
* Assist with, develop, and review the Cost to Complete with the project Quantity Surveyors
* Thorough review of contract programme, ensure submission to Client in line with contract requirements
* Review sufficiency of resources required to deliver the work
* Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance, raise non-conformances where necessary
* Coordinate with the design manager to ensure that the design activities are visible and that all activities are aligned to support the programme
Lean construction
Lean construction forms an integral part of our approach to project delivery and has been identified as essential to sustained growth of the business. For their allocated scheme, Project Managers are responsible for the following in this respect:
* Application of Lean tools, including Collaborative Planning, Production Control, Plan to Protect, Problem Solving techniques and Root Cause Analysis
* Implementation and oversight of the project risk register, deliverables schedule and action plan
* Ownership of Collaborative Action Plan, reviewing regularly with site team and adding all actions
* Accountability for monthly Project Review Meeting scores
QESH
* Lead by example, set the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of QESH best practice, ensuring compliance with company procedure, policy and legal obligations.
* Ensure the Project Management Plan is completed and reviewed on a monthly basis.
* Produce RAMS and safe systems of work and review on a monthly basis or as necessary.
* Coordinate temporary works.
* Promote Contribution reporting
* Attend weekly Health Safety and Wellbeing call
* Complete Competency forms for key personnel
* Operational Leadership training completed for supervisors
