We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookings Administrator to join our team. This full-time, office-based role involves managing day-to-day bookings, handling customer communication, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. You will be responsible for monitoring the departmental inbox, verifying rate confirmations, issuing invoices, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any issues. Strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn new software are essential. Experience in the haulage or shipping industry and with TOPS software is a plus. Requirements Monitor and manage the departmental mailbox, ensuring prompt responses and actions. Handle day-to-day booking and administrative tasks, including email correspondence and customer communication. Facilitate effective communication between the bookings/administration department and internal/external stakeholders. Verify rate confirmations, rate jobs accurately, and issue invoices. Perform basic administrative duties such as answering phone calls, data entry, and scheduling meetings. Collaborate with support teams to resolve IT or system-related issues affecting departmental operations. Requirements: Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proven experience in an office environment. Willingness to learn new software applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred (but not essential): Experience with TOPS software. Background in the haulage or shipping industry. Additional Considerations: Must have driving license and own transport due to office location.
