Rate: Competitive (DAY RATE)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a busy civil engineering/groundworks subcontractor on a project based in Northumberland.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long‑term freelance/temporary contract, with additional phases of work expected on site, offering the potential for further extension beyond the initial 9 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising day‑to‑day site operations on a civils/groundworks package
* Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
* Maintaining health and safety standards on site
* Coordinating labour, materials, and plant to meet programme deadlines
* Liaising with site management and project teams
Requirements
* SSSTS (essential)
* First Aid at Work (essential)
* Gold CSCS Card (essential)
* Previous experience supervising on civils/groundworks projects
* Ideally experience working for a groundworks subcontractor
