Due to high demand, we are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support Year 1 pupils in primary schools across Ellesmere Port.
This role will focus heavily on phonics support, making it a fantastic opportunity for LSAs who are passionate about helping children build strong early reading skills.
The Role
1. Supporting pupils within Year 1 classrooms
2. Delivering phonics support and early literacy interventions
3. Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
4. Supporting pupils to remain engaged and confident in their learning
5. Working closely with teachers to support pupil progress

Job Specification
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.
We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following;
15. NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
16. NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
17. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
18. CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
19. BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
29. Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
30. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
31. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
32. Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
33. Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
