About Our Client
Our client is a fast‑growing, mission‑driven restaurant group known for serving fresh, responsibly sourced food and rapidly expanding across the UK and Europe.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
3. Lead sourcing and procurement across key food categories.
4. Drive commercial negotiation, cost‑of‑sales management, and mitigation strategies.
5. Analyse category performance, supply markets, and cost drivers to inform strategy.
6. Partner closely across the business on new product development (NPD) and menu innovation.
7. Own supplier sourcing, onboarding, relationship management, scorecarding and performance reviews.
8. Conduct RFPs, contract negotiations, tenders, and commercial evaluations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate would have:
9. Food procurement experience, ideally within QSR, restaurant groups, food manufacturing, or FMCG.
10. Category experience in proteins and produce strongly preferred.
11. Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation experience.
12. Analytical mindset: able to interpret data, cost structures and supply‑market intelligence.
13. End‑to‑end supplier management experience.
14. Comfortable working cross‑functionally and taking ownership for the categories.
