Your Responsibilities
* Installation & Commissioning: Set up conveyor equipment and systems, including both mechanical and electrical components.
* Compliance: Ensure all work meets project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues during installation and maintenance.
* Communication: Keep project managers and internal teams updated on project status, risks, and issues.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and customer service teams to ensure project success.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate project records and reports.
* Flexibility: Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
* Experience Required: Must have conveyor experience!
Essential Skills
* Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of conveyor systems.
* Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and installation, especially with Allen Bradley PLC and Rockwell Automation.
* Field service and construction experience, focusing on electrical systems.
* Strong mechanical and electrical installation knowledge in the conveyor industry.
* Adept at reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel 100% and be on the road for 30-60 days at a time.
Additional Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical installation.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
* Comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
* Physically able to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in field environments.
* Experience with basic hand and power tools.
* Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers.
* Fluency in English; understanding of Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment
This role involves working in various environments, including Amazon facilities, while adhering to EH&S requirements. You will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and will work with various hand and power tools. Safety standards per OSHA requirements are a must. Physical abilities required include standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, and handling items weighing at least 50 lbs. Use of ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts may also be necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Clinton, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
