This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering the transformation of Thames Water. Our ambitious business plan for AMP8 (2025-2030) represents Thames Water’s biggest ever investment programme, benefiting customers and the environment. We aim to improve performance and operational efficiency through strategies and initiatives, including scaling our capital deployment capability and digital enablement, to transform Thames Water.
To support this ambition, we have established a Transformation Office, reporting to the Transformation & Retail Executive Director. This office provides strategic coordination and support for the delivery of our Transformation Plan and acts as a second line of assurance.
What you will be doing as an Insights and Reporting Specialist
* Support the Transformation Portfolio Manager and Head of Transformation Portfolio in establishing and maintaining the transformation portfolio and reporting processes.
* Lead the production of high-quality, timely reports for Executive and Board meetings, including the Transformation Monthly Business Review, with insights on delivery performance based on quality data.
* Coordinate resources and data to ensure efficient production of meeting and programme reports.
* Maintain documentation standards for the Transformation Framework, processes, milestones, and related documentation, including quality assurance.
* Assist the Transformation Office team with analysis and insights to enable informed decision-making.
What you should bring to the role
We seek someone analytical, proactive, diligent, and hands-on, capable of managing their own areas while collaborating effectively with teams.
* Provide high-quality analysis and insights to support the transformation portfolio.
* Produce timely reports on transformation activities, focusing on actionable insights derived from quality data.
* Develop and improve data analysis and reporting methods and tools used by the Transformation Office.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of tools like PowerBI and SharePoint.
* Contribute to defining and maintaining Transformation Framework, standards, and best practices.
* Ensure documentation standards are followed for the Transformation Office and related guidance.
* Support the Portfolio Manager and Head of Transformation Portfolio daily activities.
* Be flexible to travel as needed for transformation workstream activities.
