MONTH SECONDMENT CONTRACT
The Community Respiratory Nurse Lead Service are highly skilled teams who provide autonomous care to patients with chronic respiratory disease. We are very supportive and have an excellent staff retention rate with high staff morale.
We have a rare vacancy for a Band Respiratory Team Lead to join us. This post will be based in Doddington however the successful candidate will be required to work flexibly across the countywide respiratory service. This is a secondment cover full time post, however, part time hours would be considered for the right candidate.
Please note candidate is required to be NMC/HCPC registered.
Main duties of the job
The post entails providing expert supportive care for respiratory patients, by helping to prevent avoidable hospital attendances, providing facilitated support following hospital admission and the promotion of focused self management, which will include reviewing those with home oxygen therapy.
The successful candidate must be capable of working autonomously whilst supporting the local Cambridge respiratory team, and work with the support of CPFT respiratory colleagues, in providing a seamless service of care. The post holder will work in collaboration with other services across the CPFT and other stakeholders in order to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of patients with chronic respiratory disease. They will also act as a community respiratory care resource for patients and other health professionals.
