Lecturer in Electronic Engineering
We are currently seeking cover for the following post on a temporary basis to commence as soon as possible.
To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.
Teaching hours (approx. 14 paid hours per week)
* Monday: 1.5 hours, 2:30pm – 4:00pm
* Tuesday: 4.5 hours, 1:00pm – 2:30pm & 3:00pm – 6:00pm
* Wednesday: 4.0 hours, 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 4:30pm – 6:30pm
* Thursday: 2.0 hours, 4:00pm – 6:00pm
* Friday: 3.5 hours, 9:00am – 12:30pm
Qualifications and requirements
Candidates will have a teaching qualification; along with a level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in the subject area (Electronic Engineering) and have relevant experience. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent) and with the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates will also need to be IT literate to at least level 2.
NB: Candidates must be fully compliance checked prior to commencement including references and enhanced DBS and must be registered with the EWC as Lecturer in Further Education.
