Our Leamington Spa Branch are looking to recruit a Transit Van Driver/ Relief HGV Driver
In this role you will work as part of our external team of staff. You will be required to make multi drop deliveries to our customers in the surrounding area in a transit van. When not driving you will be expected to assist customers, provide excellent customer service, load and unload vehicles, pick and check orders, store stock safely and maintain a tidy, safe working environment. This role will also provide cover for the HGV drivers as and when required and will involve cover work in the yard when needed.
You will be working within a small close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis so we are looking for someone that has the likeability factor, someone that our customers will look forward to seeing knowing that they will always receive excellent customer service. You will also be required to be hard working, have a positive attitude, and pay attention to detail.
A Full UK Driving License is essential for this role. A class 2 license and a full CPC license would be preferred but not essential as full training can be given for the right candidate. Building industry knowledge would be advantageous. Hiab (Crane) experience would be preferred but not essential as full training can be given.
