Are you a hands-on Quality Engineer who loves being on the shop floor, solving problems, and driving improvements?
A leading manufacturing business in Cornwall is continuing its exciting growth journey following major investment and they’re looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of a Senior Quality Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, well-invested organisation where you can make a real impact, work collaboratively across teams, and contribute to ongoing improvements across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be a key part of the quality and engineering function, with responsibilities including:
* Leading root cause analysis and delivering effective corrective actions
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor
* Ensuring compliance with quality systems, standards, and customer requirements
* Working collaboratively with engineering, production, and technical teams
* Supporting supplier quality and wider quality assurance activity
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of quality tools (e.g. RCA, 8D, CAPA, SPC)
* A hands-on approach and confidence working closely with the shop floor
* A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
* Someone passionate, proactive, and improvement-focused
