The Role:
As part of a collaborative engineering team, you'll be involved in the design, development, and delivery of electrical control systems for complex pump-based installations across multiple sectors.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Creating schematic designs using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
* Producing all supporting documentation for efficient manufacturing
* Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness
* Designing with consideration to VSDs, PLCs, HMIs, and modern automation tech
* Attending site for commissioning, testing, and technical support when needed
* Staying up to date with legislation and safety best practices
* Supporting internal knowledge sharing, process improvement, and mentoring of others
What We’re Looking For:
* BTEC / ONC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) – Essential
* Panel design, assembly, and wiring experience – Essential
* Solid grasp of industrial automation, VSDs, and soft start tech
* Proficient in schematic design tools – EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical
* Comfortable supporting SCADA, telemetry, and networked systems (Desirable)
* Able to work flexibly, self-manage, and collaborate across departments
* Clear communicator, with a positive attitude and team-first mindset
