Role suitable for an experienced Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, or a psychologist who will gain HCPC registration within the next 6 months.
We are seeking a compassionate, creative leader to inspire and guide our Trauma‑Informed Clinical and Forensic work on a long‑term rehabilitation ward for working‑age men.
This role blends clinical practice with the development of broader leadership skills. You will influence service delivery and provide the highest quality of care, while having the opportunity to become a qualified trauma therapist. In addition to the long‑term male rehabilitation ward, you may be requested to support other patients, including those in acute wards and PICUs, using EMDR and other trauma‑informed interventions.
Join a large team of registered psychologists across our three sites (Northampton, Birmingham and Essex) and our Community Partnerships division. We offer strong support and clear pathways for career progression.
We are St Andrews, a thriving charity dedicated to giving people with mental health needs hope and a voice. Our values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence guide all we do.
All successful applicants will undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check, subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
