£160-£240 p/day
Start Date: JanuaryVeritas Education are currently supporting a forward-thinking and inclusive school in Middlesbrough that forms part of a successful academy trust. This school are a specialist provision catering for young people aged 11-16 with severe learning difficulties (SLD).
On behalf of the school, we are seeking an enthusiastic, resilient, and creative SEN Teacher to join its dedicated team. As a SEND Teacher you will:
Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with complex learning needs
Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including support staff, therapists, and families.
Promote independence, emotional regulation, and social communication skills alongside academic development.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Specialised training in SEN settings
Experience of working with students with a range of additional needs
A deep understanding of inclusive education and a commitment to personalised learning.
Patience, empathy, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt teaching methods
Flexibility, creativity, and a proactive approach to overcoming barriers to learning.
