The post will be based in Acute Medicine for the Elderly West (Ward 33), a 20-bed unit supporting a 48-72 hour patient journey. This area provides inpatient, patient-centered care, supported by an excellent Multi Disciplinary Team.

Responsibilities
* Work as part of our multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
* Be supervised and report to an Assistant Practitioner or Registered Nurse.
* Communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate commitment to maintaining high standards in all duties and work effectively within a team that shares NHS Tayside values.
* Be prepared to work a variety of rotational day and night shifts, including weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
* Committed to delivering outstanding patient care; takes pride in work and is willing to learn and develop skills and practice.
* Professional manner and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to challenging situations.

* Performance must comply with the national Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
