About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Diana Isaac Retirement Village in Mairehau, Christchurch as a Barista. This is a Part time role working Monday, Wednesday & Friday 1000 - 1530
In this role you will:
* Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors - experience making coffee essential
* Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the village
* Be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café
* Work closely with, and support your colleagues
About You
* Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café environment
* Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food serviceStrong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
