Shift 1: 08:00 – 16:00

Shift 2: 11:00 – 19:00

Pay Rate:

£14.57 per hour (£13.00 basic + £1.57 holiday pay)

About the Role

Comity Recruitment is recruiting two Parking Enforcement & Technical Support Officers to work at Royal South Hants Hospital.

This is not a standard parking manual enforcement role and will involve technical system support, customer service, and first-line maintenance duties across multiple on-site car parks, including barriered locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual parking enforcement across six/seven on-site car parks
• Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks
• Attendance at fortnightly Parking Office meetings via Microsoft Teams
• Issuing parking tickets and processing lost ticket transactions
• Sending tickets to Parking on Foot (POF) machines
• Adjusting parking space counts via the Data Central System
• Dealing with staff, patients, and visitors at the Parking Office window, and via email and telephone
• First Line Maintenance Duties
• Monitoring system events (e.g. barrier raised / sneak-through alerts)
• Restarting POF machines remotely via the Data Central System
• Clearing ticket jams and responding to faults on POF machines and car park columns
• Loading receipt tickets into POF machines
• Responding to intercom calls from POF machines and car parks
• Raising barriers or setting Auto-Open during system or car park faults

Skills & Experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good problem-solving ability with a basic technical aptitude
• Experience in parking operations or similar technical environments preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous parking enforcement experience is an advantage

A valid DBS check/certificate is required
