We are looking for
an enthusiastic experienced Band 3 Senior Health-Care Support Worker (SHCSW) to join our innovative and dynamic team working 33 hours per week.
You will be supporting patients attending the Rapid Access and Same Day Emergency Care unit at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC).

1. Additional training courses
2. Visiting other departments within Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre
3. Shadowing of other staff
You will be working as a part of an award-winning hospital and department alongside Doctors, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Allied Health Professionals and other professions.
A Senior Healthcare Support Worker will be expected to undertake a range of duties under the direction of Registered Nurses and will be required to report back on those delegated duties to a Registered Nurse. These duties with appropriate training include taking patient observations, venepuncture, venesections, ECGs, stocking up, personal care, supporting with mealtimes plus many more exciting tasks.
