You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Taking responsibility for residents' well-being, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
* Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal training for colleagues and care professionals.
* Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
* Monitoring work areas to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies, and legislation.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* As a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, you'll manage the unit alongside clinical duties, including oversight of care, medication administration, review of care plans, and providing clinical guidance.
* Previous experience in maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring policy compliance.
* Confidence in offering clinical guidance and supporting all CQC-related tasks.
* Ability to build connections with residents and families, providing kindness, support, and care.
* Effective communication skills for clinical handovers and reporting.
* Night shift work requires enhanced skills, critical thinking, confidence, self-reliance, and the ability to manage care staff calmly in emergencies.
