Are you a skilled 3D Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for turning ideas into engineered reality? Join FLI Water, part of the FLI Group, and help us deliver innovative water and wastewater solutions across the UK.
What You’ll Do:
* Design and develop 3D models in SolidWorks for bespoke mechanical systems
* Produce detailed fabrication drawings, P&IDs, BOMs, and “as-built” documentation
* Collaborate with technical, sales, and project teams from concept to completion
* Interface with client BIM systems and support internal design tool development
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering
* 5+ years’ experience in mechanical design (preferably in steel fabrication for water/wastewater)
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Strong communicator and team player with a problem-solving mindset
* Experience with Plant 3D, Revit, FEA, or instrumentation? That’s a bonus!
